Choose a chain as your bracelet or necklace

To choose a chain click on the box that reads 'Click to select bracelet or necklace'. You will then see a list of the chains available. Each chain is available in both bracelet and necklace lengths.

The lengths and prices will be displayed on the right.

Simply click on the chain style that you would like.

Next choose the length of your bracelet or chain from the drop down box that reads 'please select length'.

If you are designing a bracelet, the 19cm chain length is the average for a bracelet size. For a necklace the 42cm length is a good size for a shorter choker style necklace, while the 50cm length is a average size for a regular style necklace.

Once you have selected the length, click on the 'add to basket' button to add that bracelet or necklace to your basket.

Choose your beads, clips and spacers: There are three types of bead that can be used on your bracelet or necklace. clips, spacers and beads.

Beads: You can make your Pandora jewelry a one of a kind creation by choosing from hundreds of unique Pandora beads.

You can make your creation as wild or conservative as you like... it's entirely up to you.

You can choose from sterling silver, 14kt gold, gemstone and Murano glass beads.

Clips: You can choose 'clips' to add to your chain. The clips will hold the rest of your beads in place so that they don't move around all the time.

Adding clips to your bracelet is optional, though some ladies find that they prefer to add clips to their Pandora bracelets.

Spacers: If you would like to add some definition to your bracelet to help make specific beads stand out more, you can add spacers.

Spacers are narrower beads with simple designs which you can add between your more fancy beads.

Spacers allow you to give prominance to chosen beads by separating them and ensuring they don't slide together. By using spacers you will achieve a bracelet with unique, eye-catching beads.

To see the available spacers simply click on the 'spacers' section.

You can start with as few or as many beads, clips and spacers as you want.

To add the items you like to your shopping basket, simply click on the beads, clips and spacers that you like. You will see the items appear in your basket at the bottom of the screen.

The Pandora Myth

The myth of Pandora starts with the Greek gods. The myth tells us that the gods created all life on earth.

The Greek gods on Mount Olympus created turtles with shields, frogs with crooked legs, and bumble-bees with heavy bodies.

The god Prometheus was very proud of the human beings and wanted to give them a present, but all the shields and wings had already been given to the animals on the earth. Hence, the present he gave was a spark from the fire of the sun. The god Zeus, became angry. "How dare he do such a thing?".

Zeus decided to take revenge. On Zeus' command, the god Hephaistos and the goddess Venus created the first woman on the earth. Zeus called her Pandora, meaning "one who has received all presents". Pandora charmed both the gods and the people as she still does today.
