These next two charms are ideal for December birthday girls born under the Capricorn sign also. Their signature colour is brown, meaning that Pandora’s gorgeous range of South American wood charms (including the scalloped coracao de negro and pau amarelo wood charms at right) is perfectly suited to them. If you can, you might want to check out the existing charms on her bracelet before you grab one of these charms, though. The October birthstone charm pictured at the beginning of article features a tourmaline centre for the flower. Tourmaline acts as a replacement for the actual October birthstone, which is opal – however, as a pink stone it also stands in as a signature gemstone colour for the Librans (born from the 1^st to the 22^nd of October). There are actually three fun, feminine and shining tourmalines included in this triple-sided charm.

Those born in the first part of October are ruled by Libra, with pink as their signature colour … however, Scorpio rules the rest of the month, and the sign is symbolised by a deep, dramatic, unfathomable black! We’ve had a veritable avalanche of gorgeous black-themed Murano glass Pandora charms added to the collection over the last couple of years. These two designs at right – the black swirls with 14ct gold, and the black circles on sterling silver – are two of the newer and most popular black-themed Murano glass charms. This new concept in necklaces allows you to create your own Pandora necklace design featuring between one to 8 necklaces together.

The Necklace concept uses a three part combination – one or more necklaces (maximum of 8 necklaces), a necklace s-lock and a fixed clip bead.

The necklace(s) simply attach onto the s-lock. Then you close the fixed clip over the necklace lock to secure the necklace in place.

A series of polished,  oxidised or black rhodium silver necklaces in various necklace link styles and necklace lengths between 60cm to 95cm are available.

Adding multiple necklaces together with different lengths offers a layered design.

Some of the necklace designs also feature onyx and amethyst gemstones.

The three components, the necklace, s-lock and fixed clips are each sold separately.

These slick and polished women have mercury as their signature metal, and while we don’t, can’t and won’t sell you any jewellery made of mercury, we believe the two Pandora charms at right have a little of the mercury feel! The woven knot charm is an old favourite from the Pandora range, and one of the true classics. It writhes and twists like the amazing liquid metal, the edges slipping away from your field of vision. The new sphere clip below the woven knot charm comes from the most recent release of new Pandora charms. It is perhaps even more mercurial in its appearance, like falling drop of liquid silver caught in a moment of exceptional balance. The clip is a fantastic choice for ladies who like to have things very precisely placed on their Pandora bracelet, because this will stay put rather than sliding back and forth. Virgos have a deep and delicate blue as their signature colour, contrasted with the feminine pink of the Librans with whom they share a month.
