Our men are gorgeous. Well, mine is, at least! I’m sure that yours is the same … and I’m also sure that every guy on the face of the Earth can look like an absolute god of romance with a little attention paid to his appearance. After shaving, pulling on an ironed shirt (!) and splashing on some aftershave, there’s a new finishing touch for romance-god guys nowadays – men’s jewellery. If your man (or brother, son or Dad) has a birthday in July, jewellery is the modern and much appreciated replacement for boxers, ties and aftershave. Today we check out some of the men’s jewellery pieces that are perfect for July born guys.
July is split into two sections – Cancerian guys are born between the 1st and 23rd, with Leo as the sign from the 24th onwards. The ruling body parts for both of these categories of July-born guy are similar – Leo is ruled by the heart, while Cancer is ruled by the breasts … or perhaps the chest in general in this case! Have a browse through the range of men’s pendants on site no matter what side of the month your man’s birthday falls on – this jewellery gift will sit right next to his ‘ruling’ part. Not to mention being easy to either hide or show off, able to be worn anywhere, and great for either casual or formal occasions. The white cubic zirconia pendant at the beginning of the article, as well as its black cubic zirconia cousin at right, are great examples of ‘go anywhere’ pendants. If your birthday boy isn’t big on trying to figure out what will match with what, these are nice easy jewellery gifts that he’ll be able to wear anywhere. Both are made of brushed stainless steel (nice and tough), and feature six cubic zirconias, either black or white. The pendants are 3.5cm, and you can have a message engraved on the back if you like.
Our D&G jewellery unisex pendants are a great gift for both you and him … when he can’t be wearing his awesome jewellery gift, you can help make sure it doesn’t go to waste! The black textured and polished stainless steel dog tag design pendant above features reversible tags (the back of the black textured section is polished steel), and is 4cm long and 2.7cm wide. It comes with the chain pictured, which is 60cm long … you might have to pop it on a shorter chain in order to steal it from him! The pendant ships for free, and comes in the official D&G packaging.
The pendant section is one of the most popular in our entire men’s jewellery range … and for good reason! The Inori men’s jewellery In the Mix moveable men’s padlock pendant is another favourite – great for fiddlers, because the black titanium sections are moveable . The entire pendant measures about 4cm long – a nice middling size, good for either casual wear or going out. It’s a stand-alone item, so you’ll need to either grab a chain or make sure he has one on hand already. It ships worldwide for free, and is very well priced for such a cool birthday gift!
The signature metal for Cancerian guys is silver … and when it comes to men’s jewellery, silver = Hot Diamonds jewellery. The “Billett” pendant at right is by Hot Diamonds, and is made of full sleek sterling silver, with a brilliant cut white diamond in the centre. The chain pictured is included with the pendant, and is also made of lush sterling silver – beautiful! This is perfect for formal and cocktail events … why should the girls be the ones to have all the jewellery fun?! Definitely a luxury item, but still fairly budget-friendly – guys’ jewellery doesn’t tend to be overly expensive.
We love the Citizen dive watch at right for Leo guys (born after the 24th of July), whose signature colour is orange. There’s just a hint of bright, fiery orange on the hands … but that hint really helps create a mood for the watch itself. Besides, once he sees the specification sheet it really won’t matter … this Promaster Citizen watch is water resistant to 200m (diving approved), with thicker glass and heavier seals, as well as a split timing and stopwatch function. It ships for free across Australia, and comes with an awesome 5 year warranty!
From functional to just plain fun wristwear … if you’re grabbing your Cancerian man the Billett pendant above for his birthday, you might want to put this ID Slice diamond bracelet on the shortlist as well! Made in the signature Cancerian metal, silver, the bracelet is also rhodium-plated to help enhance shine and prevent tarnishing – he’ll be able to enjoy the silver without worrying about the polish. The bracelet is 21.5cm in length, and while it fits a wide range of men’s wrists, you might want to furtively slip a tape measure around his arm just to make sure!
The two signs that take up July have very classical signature metals – Cancer claims silver, and Leos get gold! The Gimli’s hatchet pendant at right is an official Lord of the Rings item, but even men who aren’t fans of the series will love it … the rustic, Viking-style feel matched up with the mellow luxury of gold makes for an unusual, but very popular jewellery item. It is made of 9ct gold, so despite the generous length of 4.8cm, it is still very affordable.
There are so many awesome men’s jewellery gifts nowadays – we definitely recommend browsing in the men’s pendants and necklaces if you haven’t already found something he’ll fall in love with (in his quietly masculine sort of way!). And enjoy the day!
