Pandora Aquamarine Tulip Charm

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March, and while there are some regular sterling silver aquamarine charms (in Pandora’s birthstone charms collection), we like the tulip charm at right for a little individuality, at the right price. The little piece of aquamarine dangling down form the tulip is cut asymmetrically, and you can see the spaces between the petals are oxidized … it all adds up to a lovely rustic look. This is a beautiful, budget friendly addition to all March-born girls’ Pandora bracelets!

You can also get your March-born girl a charm with the color and spirit of aquamarine, but the delicacy of Murano glass, with a piece like the one at right. The ribbon design is part of the actual glass, rather than painted on the outside, so the colors won’t fade out in a hurry. This particular charm is on a sterling silver base, so doesn’t cost much more than the base sterling silver beads. If you’re buying for a March born girl, she’ll be either a Pisces or an Aries – Pisces rules until the 20th of March, when Aries takes over. There is only so far into the extensive Pandora jewelry collection that aquamarine and its related colors can reach – but Pisceans can also claim grey as a ‘lucky’ color. We picked out the chalcedony pendant for Piscean girls, for the beautiful pure white stone that takes on some of the silvery sheen of its base when set in sterling silver. The pendant is only 17mm long, so very dainty, and the coloring makes it instantly wearable with just about anything. There are matching chalcedony earring attachments, available in the Mix n Match earring range from Pandora – for either piece, you’ll need to grab something to attach it to her gorgeous self with! The Lovepods range of jewelry from Pandora is relatively new, and definitely stunning, featuring a range of bright genuine gemstones all set in slimline 14ct yellow gold. We picked the Lovepods three-pod ring at right for Arian girls, for the featured red topaz stone in the center – their signature color. The band on the ring is ultra-slim, only around 1.5mm wide, as they are made to stack up with other Lovepods rings to cerate a personalized and individual look. This ring will partner up well with any of the other 1-pod, 2-pod, 3-pod or 6-pod rings from the same collection. But that’s a concern for another birthday… !

Another great alternative for Aries girls, at a much lower price, would be the Liquid silver ring at right. They are a fire sign … so perhaps the only thing hot enough to make the solid sterling silver flow like this would be their personality! The ring is ultra-smooth and fully polished, not oxidized.
