If you are a fan of Pandora Jewelry, you may be one of the many people who want to know which Pandora Beads are retired! This article will help you to know the truth about Pandora Retired Beads

Don’t be Fooled! Learn the Truth – How You Can Know Which Pandora Beads Have Been Officially Retired

Before looking at what ‘retired’ means – we’ll first talk about why this topic is so important for you.

There are some places on the internet that are claiming that certain Pandora beads have been retired, when in fact those beads have not been retired by the Pandora company!

Some Pandora beads are also retired only in some countries – not all countries. For example, the Pandora beads that are discontinued in the USA may be different to the Pandora beads that are discontinued in Australia.

You may be wondering why a person would make a false retired bead claim – Here’s Why – Those people are claiming that some Pandora beads are retired so that they can try to charge exorbitant fees for the so-call retired beads. Sometimes these places are charging 10 x the original price. Yes that’s right ten times the amount!

That’s why it’s important that you don’t get caught out by these people trying to trick you!

When you see a Pandora bead that is listed as ‘retired’ or ‘discontinued’ make sure you have an official source of official Pandora information – only that way will you know whether a Pandora bead has in fact been retired.

The only way for you to know this for sure is to ensure that you only purchase Pandora Beads from Authorised Pandora Retailers. You can see a list of Authorised Pandora Retailers on the official Pandora web site Pandora-Jewelry.com .

You’ll be happy to know that Gillett’s Jewellers is an Authorised Pandora Retailer.

Authorised Pandora Retailers should not be selling retired Pandora beads for higher prices than the regular prices. If you see a person charging higher fees for the retired Pandora beads – be very careful – otherwise you may be paying a lot more than you should be!

We do not recommend that you buy Pandora beads from eBay. eBay sellers are not authorised Pandora retailers and several eBay sellers are the people who are falsely claiming that some beads have been retired and are charging the exorbitant fees for them.

To see which Pandora beads have been discontinued in your country, you should visit the official Pandora web site Pandora-Jewelry.com and select your country/region. You will then see the list of the current Pandora beads. If a bead isn’t listed there for your country – then that bead has been discontinued in your country.

What does “Retired Pandora Bead” Mean?

Okay, let’s now take a step back and look at what ‘retired’ means.

When Pandora retire beads, meaning when they discontinue or stop making a specific bead, that bead is no longer available once the current stock levels are sold out.

    Great news for Pandora fans!

Pandora have not discontinued/retired any Pandora charms since March 2008.

If Pandora discontinue a charm, they normally announce the discontinued charms at the same time that they release new charms.

The most recent Pandora charm release was in March/April 2009 – and Pandora didn’t announce any discontinued/retired charms then :)
