The ‘Rhythm’ blue and black pendant at the beginning of the article is another in a set of many with the same shaping, butt different colors and patterns in the overlay, by Inori. This Japanese brand has some gorgeous romantic, but still masculine pendant designs for guys … even including a couple of silver love hearts, if he’s completely comfortable with his masculinity! The Rhythm pendant is a much more ‘ordinary’ guys shape, though, and is made of tough stainless steel with PVD coating.

We mentioned that Inori’s not afraid of romance, so while this ‘Forever’ pendant is quite pink love hearts and bunny rabbits, it still panders to that softer side of him without embarrassing him if it falls out of his shirt in public! It is a neat, compact 4cm long, and the gold is techno gold – looks great under UV light . The chain isn’t included – we have a wide selection, as well as a particular recommendation coming up!

The women’s pendant range is enormous, and one of our most popular and prolific pendant designers is the Pandora company. Liquid is their new range – all sleek sterling silver , none of the antique-feel oxidation that many of their other pieces have, and with an ocean/water theme for the designs. The Bubbles pendant at right looks set to be one of the top sellers from the range – it is dainty (2.5cm), easy to coordinate and the price is definitely right! There are matching rings and earrings available in the range also.

Pandora has a sixth, seventh and eighth sense for elegance and class – jewelry doesn’t come in much more of a charming, well-coordinated form than the pieces in the gold leaf/diamond/black accent mini-collection; the pendant at right comes from this collection. It is a well-priced luxury item – but still suitable for anyone that you feel like splashing out on this Christmas. The leather necklace is unexpected, but you come to feel that it is perfect with the gold and diamonds. Necklaces for men can be of two types – like the chain shown, a simple design that will either carry a pendant or not, depending on your preference. The chain at right is a slightly larger than usual 55cm – a good size for big or tall men, or for those who like to be able to hide their necklace under clothing. Alternatively, some jewelry pieces are also categorized as necklaces when a pendant is sold with an accompanying chain. This is the case with one of our newer products, the ‘Spotted’ pendant and chain at right. A great Christmas gift for guys who like to stay on top of the style trends, the swivel design and mini-rivets on the front keep it tough and manly, but sleek and stylish also. The chain is only 42cm long, so will sit nice and high – but may be uncomfortable on bigger necks.

Women’s jewelry is usually classed as a necklace when there is either no defined ‘ornament’ section at the front; or when the ornament section does not slide along the chain. The Driftwood necklace at right by Hot Diamonds is the second type, and is a gorgeous Christmas gift suitable for any lady that loves nature, and has a contemporary, minimalist jewelry style.
