Black titanium is the choice of the modern husband-to-be looking for an alternative to the traditional gold wedding band.

Black titanium wedding rings offer a style all their own.

With the appeal of a fashion ring, yet carrying the symbolic characteristics of a wedding ring, the black titanium ring matches the modern man’s lifestyle.

Black titanium is the ultimate choice for coordinating with men’s accessories. It matches perfectly with black watch faces and black watch bands, black belts and black shoes.

Titanium is a very strong and durable metal, making it a great choice for wedding rings.

Of all the titanium colors available, black is also the most durable and stands up to everyday wear best.

If jet black isn’t for you, more subtle black colors are available including Night Sky, Black Rainbow and Solar Ash colors.

If simple yet stylish is your plan, a black titanium band is for you.

Should i have scratches on my titanium wedding ring ? I’ve only had it on for 3 weeks and already it appears more scratched than a silver ring that i where on my other hand !!

    Good question Richard.

Although titanium is a very strong metal, much stronger than gold, platinum and silver, and is more scratch, bend and dent resistant, it is not completely scratch resistant.

As with any jewelry, titanium rings can and will scratch. Scratching of any metal, including titanium, can happen within one day or one year - there is not a certain time from when scratching and wear will begin to occur.

Some people won’t notice any scratches for years. Other people will notice scratches after a day.

We have found over the years that people notice scratches on new items of jewelry, particularly new wedding rings, more than on other jewelry items. I guess that’s the same with all new things, we want them to stay looking new and perfect. With wedding rings, people generally notice the signs of wear because people look at their new wedding ring a lot when it’s new and show their ring to a lot of people when it’s new. As the ring ages, people generally don’t notice the scratches nearly as much.

To help keep your ring looking good, we suggest that you not wear your ring whilst doing manual work, whilst gardening, whilst working with abrasive substances, at the gym, playing sport or at the beach.

As with gold rings, polished titanium rings can easily be polished by a local jeweller for only a few dollars to make the ring look like new again.

Remember, the more respect you have for your jewellery, the longer it will stay looking good for you.

You do need to appreciate however that titanium rings, as with gold rings, can and will scratch with normal every day wear and not just with heavy wear.

I hope this information has been helpful.
