In the last few days of the whole year, the ruling zodiac sign changes from Sagittarius to Capricorn … and with it, the signature gemstone from turquoise to garnet. We couldn’t avoid featuring this relatively new rhodolite garnet heart charm as the ideal gift for loved ones born between the 22^nd and 31^st of December … it has a beautiful high polish, the deliciously feminine pink-cast garnet, and the power to help her start a new year with love on her side! It is also quite an affordable Pandora gemstone charm … always a bonus after the ravages of Christmas upon your credit card!

These next two charms are ideal for December birthday girls born under the Capricorn sign also. Their signature colour is brown, meaning that Pandora’s gorgeous range of South American wood charms (including the scalloped coracao de negro and pau amarelo wood charms at right) is perfectly suited to them. If you can, you might want to check out the existing charms on her bracelet before you grab one of these charms, though. The natural polished wood makes for quite a unique look, and depending on the combined style of the other charms on her Pandora bracelet, they could be a little out of place. They’ll look fantastic on bracelets that are dominated by pure sterling silver, gold, or silver/gold combo charms. However, you’ll need to be careful about colour combinations if she has a liking for Pandora enamel charms or Murano glass charms on her bracelet already. The total tanzanite weight in the bracelet is 2.65ct, with a supporting 0.12ct of white diamonds. With the gorgeous colour and good affordability of tanzanite, though, you may well want to check out the larger stones – like the one in this tanzanite and diamond pendant. It is an uncomplicated design that will fit in easily with work and casual outfits – there’s not really any reason for her to take this birthday gift off, actually!
