Not having to change batteries is one of the natural advantages of solar powered items like watches and calculators. However, often the technology lets down the concept. You can find with low-quality cheap solar-powered models that you would much rather have the inconvenience of changing batteries in your watch, than that of never knowing what the real time is, because the power mechanism is letting you down. This doesn’t happen with Eco-Drive watches – if there’s one thing Citizen knows, it is how to create a quality watch.
