Discontinued Pandora Beads and Bracelets – March 2008
Pandora have announced that all of the beads listed in this article have been discontinued as of March 2008. If you have been thinking of buying any of these beads – you better get in quick before they are extinct!
Pandora have commented that “A number of these items are still very good sellers but have been discontinued only to make way for new products and new designs.”
Here at Gillett’s Jewellers we still have a number of the discontinued beads available (see our Pandora section). However, these will not last long now that this list has been made public.

Where to find the discontinued Pandora products
There are currently still a number of these discontinued beads and bracelets available. But you will have to get them quick, as they are certainly not going to be available for much longer. Get into the Pandora section to see which ones are still available for sale.

I was wondering if there was any 14, 15 or 16 cm oxidised bracelets with s/s charm closer

Hi Paula, Pandora now offer a 16cm length silver bracelet, which is the shortest bracelet length that they make.

I am interested in knowing if Pandora has retired any more beads since March 2008?

Pandora have not discontinued/retired any Pandora charms since March 2008.
If Pandora discontinue a charm, they normally announce the discontinued charms at the same time that they release new charms.
The most recent Pandora charm release was in March/April 2009 – and Pandora didn’t announce any discontinued/retired charms then, which is great news for all Pandora fans!

Hi.I have a bracelot on order/layby and am concerned that it may be a little long.Is it possible to change it if it is by coming into your store on Broadway. Also, are the chains able to be shortened as my girlfriend believes the 16cm may still be too large.

Hi Trudi, Due to the style of the Pandora bracelet with a solid rather than link based design, the Pandora bracelets can’t be shortened in length.
What we offer with our Gillett’s Jewellers customers is – we exchange the bracelet for a different length bracelet. Our customers simply return the bracelet to us within 30 days with their Gillett’s Jewellers purchase receipt and we exchange the bracelet for a bracelet of the same design in the required length. Gillett’s Jewellers don’t charge an exchange fee for this service for silver and the silver with gold clasp Pandora bracelets (Note: solid gold Pandora bracelets have a different price for each cm length – the difference in price between gold bracelet lengths is charged or refunded to the customer). A small delivery fee applies if delivery is required for a bracelet exchange.
You are welcome to visit our Brisbane store to exchange the bracelet for a different length, in which case there would not be any delivery fees.
The 16cm length is the shortest length available in the Pandora bracelet range.
For your peace-of-mind, in the future you’ll now know that by purchasing a Pandora bracelet from Gillett’s Jewellers, you’ll be able to exchange the bracelet if you needed a different length.

On the retired kanji charms, peace, harmony, love, etc. is there a line underneath the characters or is that simply a shadow from taking the photo?

Yes Santrell, the line is a reflection of the camera lens. There is not a line in the actual charm.
